H Mart is No. 13 on the National Retail Federation’s Hot 100 Retailer’s List and is recognized as one of the fastest-growing places to shop for its unique approach to a traditional supermarket. Its second Irvine location opened in Westpark Plaza in August 2022.

An impressive, nine-restaurant food hall is prominently sited inside the market, allowing customers to indulge in specialties from many Asian cultures. What’s also unique? These restaurants are exclusive to this H Mart food court: Lee Mangu Noodle, Cho Dang, Tokyo Hamburg, Menya Sandaime, Jopok Topokki, Left Wing, Myungrang Hotdog, Woomiok, and Tous les Jours.

“I am so pleased to welcome a second H Mart to the City of Irvine,” said Mayor Farrah N. Khan in an announcement on the grand opening. “After celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, this is an excellent way to continue to recognize and support our diverse community.”

Another location is expected to open in fall 2023 in Northpark Plaza.

H Mart joins a wide variety of grocery shopping options at Irvine Company centers, including: Gelson’s Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, Pavilions, Ralphs, Amazon Fresh, Smart & Final Extra and Target.
