The Market Place turns dollars into rewards for local schools with Earn & Learn
Earn & Learn returns to The Market Place for the fifth year to support local education. The program encourages the community to raise money for local schools by submitting merchant receipts from The Market Place, awarding every participating school with a prize ranging from $350 to $3,500, depending on the amount of the receipts collected. As an added bonus, the school with the most receipts logged each month receives an extra $250 bonus prize. Each dollar spent helps fund local education programs.
Schools also have the opportunity to reward top students with incentives and prizes donated by participating retailers. The Top Dog award from Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar provides winners with a discount on their next visit. In addition, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream offers deals to kids who receive their Good Student Award.
Participating retailers host fundraising events throughout the year at The Market Place, allowing schools to earn extra points while bringing parents, students and teachers together. Fresh Brothers Pizza-Salad-Wings, Islands and other participating restaurants offer 20% discounts during fundraisers. Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream offers free coupons and ice cream social events as additional ways to earn bonus points.
The program ends April 30. Visit www.shoppingpartnership.com/TMP for full details, a list of participating schools, and the receipt submission form.
