Dine outdoors in Irvine this summer

What makes Irvine dining the best of the best? Great weather combined with great food. Now that the sun is shining and summer is coming, it’s the perfect time to get outside and try a new dining experience. Globally inspired cuisine is the name of the game with these three restaurants that feature beautiful patios and al fresco dining.

New to Irvine Spectrum Center, Robata Wasa is a high-quality Japanese and sushi restaurant that prides itself on bringing new concepts and fresh flavors to its elegant menu. The restaurant space was inspired by the concept of engawa, “edge side,” which brings together the inside and outside of the restaurant. Robata Wasa emphasizes the importance of a well-balanced dish that complements its surroundings, making it an ideal location for a date night or outdoor business lunch.

The only thing better than an outdoor patio is two outdoor patios. Irvine Grill at Quail Hill offers two options for guests, including a covered patio and a patio that overlooks a fountain. A Persian menu accompanies the inviting atmosphere, along with a new bar area and a happy hour menu.

For diners seeking authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than Taco Rosa at The Market Place. The canopied patio, described as “the Cadillac” of outdoor patios, features one of Irvine’s first outdoor bars and a tropical vibe that instantly transports guests to the beaches of Mexico. Enjoy slow-cooked barbacoa tacos (on Tuesdays) with a coconut margarita and allow yourself to experience the unique and vibrant flavors of Mexico City.
